Larissa Ione--Rogue Rider (Lords of Deliverence #4)

They're here.

They ride.

The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.

Born of a match between good and evil, four siblings stand between hell's minions and everything they want to destroy. They are the Lords of Deliverance, and they have the power to ward off Doomsday . . . or let it ride . . .

ROGUE RIDER

Jillian Cardiff came to this remote mountain town to forget the demon attack that almost killed her. Instead, she rescues-and falls for-a gorgeous stranger who has no memory of anything other than his name. Handsome, charming, and protective, Reseph seems like the kind of man whom Jillian can trust. But with hints of a troubling history of his own, he's also the kind of man who can be very dangerous . . .

Reseph may not know why he mysteriously appeared in Jillian's life, but he knows he wants to stay. Yet when Jillian's neighbors are killed, and demon hunters arrive on the scene, Reseph fears that he's putting Jillian in danger. And once it's revealed that Reseph is also Pestilence, the Horseman responsible for ravaging the world, he and Jillian must face the greatest challenge of all: Can they forget the horrors of a chilling past to save the future they both desire.

{4 stars}
This has been a great 4 part series. I love the way Ione takes us from one series stream to another, and now looks like we are going back to the Demonica series. After reading all 4 of the Horsemen books, I like Reseph the best. He seemed the most human to me. And Jillian is the perfect compliment to his more "human" side. The Horsemen have had a long lonely existence, centuries long, and now they finally have answers to some major questions. Everything you thought you knew about the Horsemen will be turned upside down with this series. They may be supernatural creatures, half demon, half angel, but they still crave what we all crave......love and acceptance. My only (half hearted) complaint is that we had such a great buildup to, what we think, is the final battle, but it seemed like we went thru it in "fast forward". I suppose that is so we can get all those still remaining unanswered questions in the next book. But I felt like it was very anticlimactic. {shrug} Oh well, on to the next book, I'm happy that Ione isn't going to leave us with this one, we get to "patiently" wait for Reaver's story next.

Olivia Cunning--(One Nigth with Sole Regret #1-#3)

Try Me #1

For the five sexy rock gods of Sole Regret, finding love is easy, keeping it is hard.

Melanie has no desire to meet the members of the rock band, Sole Regret, but her groupie of a best friend gets them both backstage and then rushes off with the band’s lead singer. Left alone at an after party with a bunch of scary tattooed and pierced metal-heads, sheltered Melanie is relieved when the only normal-looking guy in the room insists on keeping her company.

By the time Melanie discovers that Gabe is the band’s drummer and not as normal as she assumed, she has already made a complete fool of herself. She can’t help but be interested in him, not as a rock star, but as the sexiest man she’s ever encountered. Strangely attracted to his hidden tattoos and body piercing, she wonders what it would be like to spend a night with a bad boy.

Gabe is more than willing to show sweet Melanie there’s more to him than meets the eye. All she has to do is try him. Will they only share a single night of passion? Or will their hearts entangle as quickly as their bodies?

Tempt Me #2

For almost a year, Madison has been Adam’s hook-up every time his band, Sole Regret, tours through Dallas. But in spite of the way he sets her body ablaze with passion, the occasional night of rock-her-world sex isn’t enough anymore. She needs a commitment and knows that won’t fit into Adam’s rock-star lifestyle. Madison will take one more hot-and-heavy night with the sexy musician before she cuts all ties with him for good. Even if she must break her own heart to do it.

To tempt him…

Life isn’t all bright lights and fan adulation for the lead guitarist for Sole Regret. Madison has seen Adam at his worst and still managed to bring out the best in him. Her cleverly concealed naughty side also brings out the beast in him. He’s never met a more tempting woman in his life.

Madison has no problem tempting Adam into her bed, but can she tempt his heart into taking a chance on love?

Take Me #3

She is one woman he should never touch…

Sole Regret’s enigmatic vocalist, Jacob “Shade” Silverton, is a consummate womanizer, but even he knows better than to get involved with one special woman from his past. Mixing friendship and pleasure can only lead to a broken heart, and he’s suffered enough heartache to swear off relationships for a lifetime.

He is one man she has always desired…

Amanda Lange knows all about Shade’s naughty reputation, but that doesn’t stop her from wanting to dive into the gorgeous rock star’s arms and into his bed. She convinces herself that one night of passion won’t complicate their friendship, but can she convince him of that?

They’re both playing with fire.

Neither of them realized how far one kiss would take them. As the flames of their passion ignite with the intensity of an inferno, will either of them escape the experience without being burned or will both be branded fool enough to take a chance on a relationship that was marked for ruin before it even began?

Usually I don't post reviews on short stories unless they are AMAZING! I started reading Olivia Cunning and the Sinners on Tour Series. And since I'm waiting on book 3 of that series I decided to give this short story series a try, the reviews were great. And they really are great, the guys in the band are funny, charming, sexy, and super HOT. My only complaint is that they are SHORT stories, I want so much more from them, the quick endings leave me craving more.....

Olivia Cunning--Rock Hard (Sinners on Tour #2)

Erotic romance is one of the bestselling subgenres in the romance category. Olivia Cunning delivers the perfect blend of steamy sex, heartwarming romance, and a wicked sense of humor.

This second in the Sinners on Tour series features lead singer Sedric Lionheart who became a playboy after his fiancee, Jessica, broke his heart. Forced on a summer tour together for two entire months, but stubbornly desperate to stay apart, they find a million steamy reasons why they had that lovin' feeling in the first place.

{3 stars}
I know I'm in the minority on this one, but Sed and Jessica are my least favorite duo. I skimmed most of the story so I could get to the parts that included the whole band.....and Trey. The guys in the band are what make this series great. They are so funny, cute, and HOT. And Trey is quickly becoming my favorite. As much as I want to skip to Trey's book, I'm going to wait and read them in order and wait for Jace....

Olivia Cunning--Backstage Pass (Sinners on Tour #1)

Five stunning guys, one hot woman, and a feverish romance...

For him, life is all music and no play...

When Brian Sinclair, lead songwriter and guitarist of the hottest metal band on the scene, loses his creative spark, it will take nights of downright sinful passion to release his pent-up genius...

She's the one to call the tune...

When sexy psychologist Myrna Evans goes on tour with the Sinners, every boy in the band tries to seduce her. But Brian is the only one she wants to get her hands on...

Then the two lovers' wildly shocking behavior sparks the whole band to new heights of glory... and sin......

{4 stars}
I finally succumbed to all the chatter and reviews that said I just had to give this series a try. I was "on the fence" for most of the book, because Myrna's emotional barrier was trying my patience. But the band members of Sinners, well, they are just to charming, cute, funny and HOT to resist. They really made the book for me. You just want to take them all home with you. Brian is a romantic at heart and wants more than anything to find true love, but it takes him a long time to convince Myrna to break away from her damaged past. Their sex life isn't anything we haven't read a thousand times, but the emotional factor between them (mostly Brian) really made the story great. Looking forward to reading the rest of the bands stories.

Maya Banks--Hidden Away (KGI #3)

The Kelly Group International (KGI): A super elite, top secret, family-run business.
Qualifications: High intelligence, rock hard body, military background.
Mission: Hostage/kidnap victim recovery. Intelligence gathering. Handling jobs the US government can’t…

A man who shoots first and asks questions later…

Most people would take an all-expenses-paid trip to the beach in a heartbeat. Garrett Kelly only accepts to keep tabs on Sarah Daniels, who’s in hiding after witnessing a murder by Marcus Lattimer, her half-brother—and a personal enemy of KGI. This gig may be beneath a disciplined soldier like Garrett, but if he gets a shot at Lattimer, it will all be worth it…

…and the ultimate moving target.

But Garrett hadn’t counted on falling for Sarah. He’d considered seduction as a tactical maneuver, but when he glimpses Sarah’s dark past, he feels an urgent desire to keep her safe—even after she disappears on him. Garrett doesn’t know exactly who, or what, Sarah’s running from, but whatever it is, she’s running for her life...

{4 stars}
This is one of those series every woman should have in their TBR pile. It's not (for me) one of those "rush right out and get the new one" kind of series, but one I appreciate reading all the same. The Kelly brothers are all unique in attitude and attributes. But they all have a firm sense of family and honor, And you never know when the right woman is going to knock them on their Hot Alpha asses. Garrett has been the quiet protector in the first 2 books, even taking a bullet for his sister-in-law. But now he is on his own, and on uncharted ground. I really enjoyed reading his story, we should all be so lucky to find the perfect beach with the perfect companion. The books are simple, the characters are great, and the action keeps it from getting boring.

Maya Banks--No Place To Run (KGI #2)

The last person Sam Kelly expected to save was Sophie Lundgren. Once they shared a brief, intense affair while Sam was undercover and then she vanished. She's spent the last few months on the run, knowing that any mistake would cost her both her life and that of their unborn child. Now she's resurfaced with a warning for Sam: this time, he's the one in danger.

{3.5 stars}
Second in the series, and not as great as the first in my opionion. It started out great, lots of action. And some really great scenes with Sophie and Sam. But it lost some of its momentum towards the end. Still a great series.

D.B. Reynolds--Lucs (Vampires in America #6)

THE BADLANDS of SOUTH DAKOTA … haunting landscapes, legendary outlaws, and … vampires?

LUCAS DONLON is a Vampire Lord, one of the most powerful vampires in North America and beyond. Charming and irreverent to his friends and lovers, he enjoys everything about his life as a vampire. But when a neighboring vampire lord declares war, he soon discovers that Lucas is as every bit as lethal as he is charming.

KATHRYN HUNTER doesn’t care about powerful vampires or their wars. Her baby brother is missing and she will do anything to find him, even if it means going against both her FBI bosses and the local vampire lord. But Lucas Donlon has other plans for the lovely FBI agent who’s landed on his doorstep.

Waging war against their enemies and each other, Lucas and Kathryn will risk everything to keep the most deadly vampire war in hundreds of years from engulfing every vampire, and human, in North America.

{4.5 stars}
Terrific story. Lucas and Kathryn remind me of Raphael and Cyn. Kathryn is gusty and has an iron will of her own, she doesn't fall easily to the "will" of Lucas. Lucas is a super HOT Vampire Lord......and I mean super HOT. They ignite together and could practically set the sheets on fire. Fast paced story, which brings the series around into a different direction. A new war is beginning, and it looks like it's going to have plenty of action and scorching HOT couples.

Tiffany Reisz--The Prince (The Original Sinners #3)

Keep your friends close and your enemies closer...preferably in bed. That's always been Kingsley Edge's strategy with his associate, the notorious New York dominatrix Nora Sutherlin. But with Nora away in Kentucky, now it's Kingsley's chance to take her place at the feet of the only man he's ever wanted -- Søren, Nora's on-again, off-again lover -- until a new threat from an old enemy forces him to confront his past.

Wes Railey is still the object of Nora's tamest yet most maddening fantasies, and the one man she can't forget. He's young. He's wonderful. He's also thoroughbred royalty and she's in "his" world now. But Nora is no simpering Southern belle, and her dream of fitting into Wesley's world is perpetually at odds with her dear Søren's relentlessly seductive pull.

Two worlds of wealth and passion call to her and whichever one Nora chooses, it will be the hardest decision she will ever have to make... unless someone makes it for her....

{5 stars}

I worship at the feet of Tiffany Reisz....

I actually want to give this more than 5 stars. I rarely find a book that get's me to stay up all night to finish and evokes such emotion for her characters. "They will bend to his will alone"....so poignant and so true. Soren is an enigma to many, no one truly knows him but 2 people, Kingsley and Nora. This time we get to learn the history of Soren and Kingsley. While Nora is away with her Wesley, we flash back to the beginning. The beginning of everything, and the beginning may just be the end of everything.

You must start at the beginning with The Siren to truly understand this journey. I have fallen in love with these characters, even Soren (you will understand once you read them). They all play an important part in the journey. And maybe, for some of us, we see a little glimpse of our secret desires in parts of them. Do we want the safety of normal? Or the all encompassing passion with something forbidden? Hard to choose. I don't want to give any spoilers away, so I will say this was a very emotional trip learning what lengths Soren needs to feel anything for another. The pain is a part of him, as much as the soul is a part of him. What draws Kingsley and Nora to him is astonishing. The level of devotion. It's as though they are at the feet of God. Their God at least in their eyes. But nothing is the same when their past comes back to haunt them. I love this series, and can't wait to read the next one. This has one hair pulling cliff hanger in it!

Darynda Jones--Fourth Grave Beneath My Feet (Charley Davidson #4)

Sometimes being the grim reaper really is that. Grim. And since Charley’s last case went so awry, she has taken a couple months off to wallow in the wonders of self-pity. But when a woman shows up on her doorstep convinced someone is trying to kill her, Charley has to force herself to rise above. Or at least get dressed. She quickly realizes something is amiss when everyone the woman knows swears she’s insane. The more they refute the woman’s story, the more Charley believes it.

In the meantime, the sexy, sultry son of Satan, Reyes Farrow, has been cleared of all charges. He is out of prison and out of Charley’s life, as per her wishes and several perfectly timed death threats. But his absence has put a serious crimp in her sex life. While there are other things to consider, like the fact that the city of Albuquerque has been taken hostage by an arsonist.

{5 stars}
Darynda Jones can't seem to go wrong in my opinion! 18 pages in and I am laughing out loud at the antics and banter of Charley and Cookie. Charley hasn't left her house in 2 months since her attack by Earl Walker, and her family and friends are starting to worry. But then she gets a new case that brings her back to life, and back to Reyes Farrow. No matter what Charley says, Reyes will never be far away. The Bandits make an appearance, and Charley has issues, fights, and compromises with her family. Another wonderful addition to the Charley Davidson storyline.
