Eileen Wilks--"Blood Lines" (Lupi series)

synopsis:
Touch-sensitive FBI agent Lily Yu and her werewolf bond-mate are recruited by the Secret Service to help identify elected officials who have accepted demonic pacts. but Lily must turn to fellow agent Cynna Weaver for help when Cynna's former teacher, a demon master, emerges as the main suspect behind the pacts. After a demon commits a gruesome murder, sorcerer Cullen Seabourne joins the team racing the clock to find the apprentice of evil who uses demons to kill. Cynna and Culled must work together--a challenge indeed when each has good reason to ignore the desire simmering between them. But the passion and events both spiral out of control as an ancient prophecy is fulfilled--and the lupi's greatest enemy sets he sights on total devastation...

***I really like this series because it is not just a story full of random bouts of sex. Wilks is developing a story. I like the characters, and she keeps bringing new ones in, where the focus is no longer about Rule and Lily's mate bond, but about a team as a whole. And they all have real problems along with the "other worldly" ones they are brought together to fight. This book dragged a little for me, but not enough to give up on the series.
