Liam “Hunter” Blake hates the Reapers MC. Born and raised a Devil’s Jack, he knows his duty. He’ll defend his club from their oldest enemies—the Reapers—using whatever weapons he can find. But why use force when the Reapers’ president has a daughter who’s alone and vulnerable? Hunter has wanted her from the minute he saw her, and now he has an excuse to take her.
Em has lived her entire life in the shadow of the Reapers. Her overprotective father, Picnic, is the club’s president. The last time she had a boyfriend, Picnic shot him. Now the men in her life are far more interested in keeping her daddy happy than showing her a good time. Then she meets a handsome stranger—a man who isn't afraid to treat her like a real woman. One who isn't afraid of her father. His name is Liam, and he’s The One.
Or so she thinks.........

Romeo and Juliet for the MC age......
Hunter and Em are from rival MC's, their father's are high up in their respective MC's and it seems impossible for the two of them to ever be able to be together. But, where there is a will, there is a way.....
I loved every word of this story, there is nothing I would change about it. Em may seem like Daddy's girl and will always do what she is told. But when the men in her life start taking her for granted, she gets a spine of steel. Hunter has never wanted anyone more than he wants Em. But he doesn't know the first thing about relationships, or how he is going to deal with wanting the enemies daughter. Somehow this all manages to work, and it flows logically. We back up a little in the storyline, just to get some perspective from Hunter and Em's side of the kidnapping and their "courtship" beforehand, then we take off with their story. Em, being the daughter of the Reapers president, knows all to well what life as an "old lady" entails. So the only struggle for them is how are they going to be together? The synopsis kind of gives away who she picks, and I was on the fence in the last story about who I would pick. But after reading them together, she made the best choice. Hunter is just too HOT for words and the perfect match for Em. Add in the cast of supporting characters (like Skid and Kit) and the chaos of the MC's in general, and there is nothing boring about this series. And let's all admit, we don't read these stories for the MC drama, we read them for the HOT couples. And Wylde never disappoints! This is one of my top 5 series and always on my favorite shelf.
