We have followed Zeth and Sloan for 5 books. Loved them, rooted for them, fell in love with them. And now, with book 6, our journey comes to an end. It's always scary to get to the end, you never know if the author will make all your dreams come true. Will there be the happily ever after they deserve? Or will they be defeated and end in heartbreak.
The path that brought Zeth and Sloan to this point was violent. Some new discoveries were made, and some not so happy moments have forced our H/h into situations none of us thought they could escape from. Watching Zeth break out of the cage he built around himself has been wonderful. He is the perfect broken Alpha Hot Male. And Sloan, her patience kept him moving forward when any sane person would have run for the hills after the first gunfire. There will be no spoilers with this review. I won't tell you what happens to Lacey, Michael, Zeth, or Sloan. But I am happy with how Callie Hart ended it. I thought it was an amazing ending to an equally amazing journey for Zeth & Sloan.
