Kylie Scott-Lead (Stage Dive #3)

The lead singer of Stage Dive, Jimmy is used to getting whatever he wants, whenever he wants it whether it's booze or women. However, when a PR disaster serves as a wake-up call about his life and lands him in rehab, he finds himself stuck with a new assistant hired by the record company to keep him out of trouble. He doesn't need or want a babysitter. Especially one that looks like Lena.

Lena's not willing to take any shit from the sexy rocker she's been hired to assist and is determined to keep their relationship completely professional, despite the sizzling chemistry that sparks between them every time they're in the same room. But when Jimmy pushes her too far and Lena leaves, he realizes that he may just have lost the best thing to ever happen to him.

Readers won't want to miss the third book in this New Adult series about ordinary young women who fall in love with rock stars.

{5 stars}

Lena doesn't really care that he is a rock star, she just needs a job. And this job seems easy enough, but looks can be deceiving.....in more ways than one.

Jimmy is damaged and hides it in booze and partying. His mother really did a number on him and he doesn't believe anything anyone tells him about his worth. Those closest to him can't seem to get through to him, but maybe Lena can? Lena has her own issues, her sister betrayed her in a way no sister ever should. So they are quite a pair to be helping each other. I wasn't impressed in the beginning, Jimmy is quite an ass. (And Mal is still my favorite). But as you go along you find it is just a defense mechanism he uses to keep people away. He doesn't trust anyone, but Lena starts to see the cracks in his armor when they are alone. He starts to share and open up when it's just the two of them. Back and forth they go, until Lena finally has had enough and he goes to far. Just as looks can be deceiving, you also don't know what you have until its gone.  Loved it!
